INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE :

• For hygienic hand rub: At least 3 ml of HEXA ISOPROPYL 75% should be rubbed onto the dry hands within 30 seconds without rinsing.
• For surgical hand antisepsis: HEXA ISOPROPYL 75% should be distributed onto dry hands and forearms in order to entirely cover them.                                                                                                                              As many portions as necessary to keep them wet for at least 1.5 minutes should be rubbed in without rinsing.
• For Skin antisepsis: Local application on the skin.
• HEXA ISOPROPYL 75% is ready to use.

– The WHO and FDA o ers two simple formulations for making your own hand-sanitizing liquids.
– One of these formulations uses 80% ethanol, and the other, 75% isopropyl alcohol.
– Both recipes contain a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to prevent microbes from growing in the sanitizer and a bit of Glycerol to help moisturize skin and prevent dermatitis.
– When an alcohol-based hand sanitizer is rubbed into the skin, its an alcohol evaporates, leaving behind these soothing compounds.
– Scienti c certi cation shows that neither pure alcohol nor water is su cient to denature the protein in bacteria.
– Only when alcohol and water coexist will the protein lose its physiological activity.
